PLA-L GEHR PLA-L is a blend of polylactic (polylactic acid), some lignine, fatty acid and wax. This biopolymer is new and can be used in temperatures ranging from -30 °C to +60 °C.
Property Profile:
• Thermoplastic based on renewable raw materials, therefore it is ecologically harmless and neutral in the CO2-result
• PLA-L is biodegradable
• Waste disposal e.g. by composting or incineration (CO2 neutral inceneration). Local regulations must be observed.
• High stiffness and a modulus of elasticity up to 2740 MPa
• Good mechanical properties similar to ABS
• High resistance to polar solvents
• Good impact strength even at low temperatures -30 Deg C
